Carl Stewart
Plant Manager
Carl oversees the seed cleaning and processing side of the business. Carl grew up on a grain farm just outside Poplar Point, Manitoba. He received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Manitoba. While attending University, Carl worked for Syngenta as a research and development summer student; crop scout and farmhand at Ag Advantage; and crop production manager at Elskamp Farms. After graduating, Carl worked for Linear Grain as Commodity Trader. In April of 2017, Carl decided to take on the plant manager role at Intel Seed.
Laura Stewart
Seed Representative
Laura runs Intel Seeds’ Pioneer Seed dealership. Laura grew up on a grain farm just outside Poplar Point, Manitoba. She received her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Manitoba, while playing on the university's Bisons soccer team. While going to school, Laura worked as a summer student with DuPont Canada in research, development, and sales. After graduating, Laura oversaw DuPont's crop protection showcase sites in Manitoba as the Manitoba field biologist. While with Dupont, Laura worked closely with Pioneer sales and research, and development groups. She joined our team in 2017 as the Pioneer representative.
